About the Project
Erasmus is the EU's flagship education and training programme in the field of higher education. The Erasmus programme not only supports mobility (for students, professors, or other higher education staff / enterprises wishing to study, teach and work abroad), but also provides co-funding to higher education institutions working together through transnational cooperation projects.
As the flagship European Funding programme in the field of education and training, the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP, 2007-2013) enables individuals at all stages of their lives to pursue stimulating learning opportunities across Europe. It is an umbrella programme integrating various educational and training initiatives. LLP is divided in four sectorial sub programmes and four so called 'transversal' programmes.
From 2014 LLP is replaced by Erasmus+ that provides grants for a wide range of actions and activities in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.
Our Venice Intensive Programme has been supported from 2013 by Erasmus LLP.
